Who - or What - Inhabits the DMT Realms?

Reports of encounters with sentient beings are common in DMT experiences. These entities appear to possess intelligence and awareness, interacting with the tripper in various ways. Some appear alien or insectoid, some humanoid or elf-like, others completely beyond description.
